I'm Stacey Leader, goldsmith and architect, based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

 

I originally qualified as a goldsmith in 1995 before studying architecture. In 2021, I returned to jewellery, rediscovering the joy of making with my hands.

 

In 2023, I created the brand Lacey Dearest Jewellery, and I now create bold, one-off  fine handmade jewellery pieces and limited edition collections that draw inspiration from architecture and the forms of nature. My work shifts between minimalism and maximalism, always with a strong sense of structure and character.
